Miami’s own Cigar Stub, which allows you to more efficiently smoke the “sweet spot” of any stogie, just launched their first Artistic Collection, with limited edition affairs hand-painted by Cuban artist Luis Miguel Rodriguez. There’re 14 designs (available only this year) with highlights like “Woman Smoking”, “Tobacco Field” (a pastoral scene of a farmer cutting leaves), and “Woman Body”, showing a rear view of a naked girl so curvy, she’ll ensure you’ve got more than just a stub.

The Cigar Stub is an unusual type of cigar accessory intended to help an aficionado enjoy the very last bit of a cigar without burning his or her hands. The anodized aluminum device resembles a fat tube of chrome lipstick when folded away. Remove the cap and you’ll see a small, folded claw that looks like the type found on the Robot from the classic television show Lost in Space. A three-inch-long arm extends at an angle from the base, with the claw at its end—slide a lever and the jaws open up.
This miniature arm is intended to hold your cigar in place while you smoke. Frankly the Cigar Stub feels—and looks—quite odd. If you really want to enjoy the last bit of your cigar, and you don’t want to risk a bit of a burn by using your fingers, we suppose there’s a use for the Cigar Stub. It undoubtedly would serve as a conversation starter if you dared unveil it at a cigar bar.

Cousins and cigar aficionados Raymond Goirigolzarri and Angel Giro have taken their love for cigars and turned it into a business. The relatives just released the Cigar Stub, an accessory that lets you smoke your stogie till the very end without getting your fingers burned. “We created it so people can enjoy the last 2 inches of their premium cigar,” said Westchester resident Giro. “It increases your smoking pleasure and extends it up to 45 minutes more.” The Cigar Stub is manufactured in Miami and is made out of aluminum and stainless steel. It retails for $49 and is available in three colors: silver, black and gold.
